The Town of Davie & BECON TV have released BIZBLOCK the television series designed to educate and inform microbusiness enterprises and small to medium business owners in and around the Town of Davie.
BizBlock is an 8 part television series produced in conjunction with BECON-TV, the Town of Davie Housing & Community Development Department.
Each episode features business experts and successful business people who guide others with their expertise. These professionals share their experiences and offer suggestions for successfully managing and growing a business on a wide variety of topics such as marketing, planning, and selling.
The result is an idea bank for small business owners where the mission is to offer “Ideas to build your business because the more you know the more you grow”.
Members of Broward SCORE had significant participation in the project. They joined interviews, introduced the producers of the program to small businesses owners, and infused ideas and helped craft episode topics. SCORE volunteers Eric Thompson and Neil Tortorella were instrumental in the success of the program development according to Debra Hall-Greene, the producer.
