About

Hello, my name is Robert Vasvary. I am a senior Radio Frequency Engineer in the Telecommunications Industry. I am a Veteran of the US Navy, having served on the aircraft carrier, USS Forestall CV-59, up until it left Pensacola in 1993 to be decommissioned. I then went back to college and studied Electrical Engineering. I graduated in 1997 from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville at the age of 32, having proved it is never too late to achieve your dreams.

Howdy, I am also known as Tennessee Bob, the Boca Hillbilly and owner of Tennessee Bob’s Hot Sauce Company, a small family owned business. My family and I  have been here in Boca Raton since 2010. My wife, son, family and friends are an integral part of my business and I wouldn’t be where I am now without their help.

I love making hot sauce. I started making it about three  years ago while gardening, growing peppers in my back yard and making salsa. Every one of these flavors I created myself. It’s  a labor of love.

Being a writer, I couldn’t help but make some characters to go with my flavors. My ultimate goal as a writer is to keep the stories coming , animate my characters leading up to a movie deal with my ultimate story, Bob versus the Volcano.   Until then, I am at the Delray Greenmarket and other venues, pushing to get my signature sauce, Hillbilly Hot Sauce on the shelves of major stores and make it a household name as well as continue building a big online presence.

Hopefully my long term goals will come true and I will see you on the big screen with Tennessee Bob and the Pepper People of Rancho del Fuego.
